What is your practice worth? Rick will review with you the 4 most common practice valuation methods and apply them to your practice with you. Obviously a practice is worth whatever a willing and able buyer will pay, so there is no promise of your being able to actually sell your practice for any given price. However Rick is neither a buyer or seller of practices but an observer so he won't be trying to inflate, or deflate, the value for another purpose. This is worthwhile even if you are just using it for internal score-keeping purposes. You know what the value of your stocks are, but what is the value of your business? If asked Rick will also make suggestions to you on what buyers are looking for and how you can improve the value of your practice in the event you do wish to sell. This price is for practices of 1-5 practitioners. Larger practices are priced individually.

If you have ever wondered how your practice measures up then this is for you. Rick will compare your business with practices of similar characteristics to see if you are doing relatively well or poorly. Cost per new patient, cost per Instrument sold, and overhead per provider, will be covered as well as profits per instrument, per provider, and profits in relation to gross sales. We can also cover business numbers like return on the value of your practice and how much you are paying your professional staff in relation to their productivity. We can compare almost any metric you are interested in provided you have good numbers for your practice, or we can calculate them. If you ask Rick will also compare your practice to the “Ideal Practice” an imaginary practice he uses for coaching purposes. Rick will also provide you with suggestions on where you can most easily improve, and how to improve your scorekeeping.

Business Plan Creation: Coaching Service: Covers the creation of your business plan for your Audiology Practice. You will finish with a draft of your working business plan. A working plan is one you actually use to improve your business outcomes, as opposed to the SBA type plans normally offered that are designed to acquire financing but often unused after financing is acquired. You will receive a blank document with the areas to complete. Then we will work together to fill in the plan specifically to fit you, your situation, and your business. Rick will be avail by phone, fax, and e-mail, to walk you through each section. This is your plan created by you with Rick's assistance, teaching, help, and coaching support. You determine the timeline for completion, it depends upon how fast you want to work and how much you already have completed as opposed to how much will need thought and research. This is for existing businesses and startups. Typically it takes 2-3 months to complete your plan.
